1 month ago I've moved the v3 source code to the v3 branch. You can create a new PR against the new branch if you'd like but I'll be deprecating v3 next year. See https://github.com/lucia-auth/lucia/discussions/1714
This is a bit conceptually simpler to me as well as fewer lines
We're going to be offering Lucia as default auth provider for new SvelteKit projects and I had this thought while reviewing that setup
