Files don't save and crashes from suggestion of non-existent Google setting #266

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Use lab in linux Google Chrome
2.Edit a file and it requests to change google setting (uncheck a box)
3.Software crashes

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what browser?
Google chrome in Kubuntu

Please provide any additional information below.
I lose all my edits
