Hello! This program seems really cool. I have a MacBook Pro and I want to run this (pls don’t suggest bootcamp). Also, is this a virus?

If it was a virus, I don't think asking project contributors would lend itself to honest answers. However, no, it is definitely not a virus. The code is all available to read through yourself, though, which is part of the beauty of open source projects.

Upload the files you're worried about to VIrusTotal. You'll be disappointed to find there is no virus in any of this code.
