Ok, found out that it's this PR https://github.com/crystal-lang/crystal/pull/14490 that broke things. This happened on Habitat too https://github.com/luckyframework/habitat/issues/88 and it's possible that fixing Habitat will fix this, so I'll give that a shot next.
