Cannot declare alternate port for SSH in GUI #328

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

There seems to be no functionality in the GUI version of SSHFS to allow one
to mount a remote ssh account on an alternate port (122 for example).

I'm afraid the GUI wrapper available from this website isn't really a "GUI
version of SSHFS". It's merely an
unsupported demo (and is marked as such). Its source is available so you can
change it howsoever you want,
if you're so inclined.

The SSHFS.app bundle contains sshfs-static, the *real* sshfs binary, which
supports all kinds of arguments,
including the alternate port one.

This "issue" has been reported many times before, so it's also a duplicate.

See also http://code.google.com/p/macfuse/wiki/FAQ, Q3.4

What I really need to do is to take SSHFS.app offline and distribute the
sshfs-static binary instead. Until I get
around to doing that, I fully expect to keep seeing these "issue" reports.
