Nothing big to note with changes.
Noticed that the new core algorithm was not working very well, so took stephens v.0.2 core code and wrote it in here, along with tobys v.0.4 completion algorithm.
Haven't changed anything else.
just makes it easier to merge later, to make a new branch off this one with changes to completion code.
