Twitter is banning links to competing social media platforms, will this affect twitodon?

I'm not sure twitodon would actually automate the process of sending tweets to all of the users' followers but twitter is officially banning links to competing social media sites.

It's no secret right when mastodon was first before announcing the ban to third party sites.

Twitodon does not rely on users having a link to their mastodon profile or their mastodon handle anywhere in their profile. It also doesn't tweet on the user's behalf or send messages to people a user follows. Therefore using twitodon should not get anyone banned, although given twitter's current state of moderation I cannot guarantee it. However if a user has their link or handle in their profile for the other migration tools that twitodon has historically been a complement to and have themselves complemented twitodon (I've recommended that people use twitodon in addition to one of the others) then that will make the user more visible to the Twitter ban hammer 😭
