What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Copy the Jars into the Plugins folder

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Doesn't show the ODA in list

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Birt was 2.3 and with Java jre1.5

Please provide any additional information below.

When Checked the jar it had reference to new oda connectivity jarfiles and 
reference to new Java 1.6 version. Changed the version to 1.5 Java. There are 
still some issues in the jar:

Description Resource    Path    Location    Type
Bundle 'org.eclipse.datatools.connectivity.oda.profile' cannot be 
resolved    MANIFEST.MF org.eclipse.birt.report.data.oda.excel/META-INF line 
27  Plug-in Problem

The oda was developed and tested on BIRT 3.7. As you said for versions below 
3.7, it might be required to re-arrange the dependencies and rebuild the jar.
