non latin keyboard letter as shortcut do not work

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Features selected (+options for each feature):
open in background
2. Url feed:

3. What is the expected output?
";", the chosen button, does not save as "open in background"
4. What do you see instead?
no action when ";" is pressed

What is your version of GoogleReaderPlus ?

What version of the product are you using?  (copy/paste from about:version

For the record, I am having the same problem, except I assigned "open in 
background" to 
shift-V. I'm using GoogleReaderPlus v3.1.2, with Chrome 5.0.342.9. My other 
extensions:

Clickable Links v1.1.2
Gadget Runner v1.1
Gmail Alert v1.5.9
GWT Developer v1.0.7263
IE Tab v1.2.191
One Number v1.3.0.11
PasswordMaker v0.1.0.6
Proxy Switchy! v1.6.3
and of course, Reader Plus v3.1.2

Notably, I am not using any of the same extensions as the original reporter.

I use Dvorak keyboard in English, but switching to QWERTY did nothing to fix it.
