fixed width error #271

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Using the newest version and now the width of the articles, when using the fix
height feature, is not the full width of the page. This wasn't like this in the
previous version. Your product is amazing though!!

I need url of the feed as example, since i cannot reproduce such behavior.
And please, give me your exact configuration of ALL your options because fit
height do not change entries width...

screen resolution too please ?

note : shortcuts key are bugged (this will be fixed next release)

screen res is 1680x1050. you know, i noticed that even when the extension is
disabled, the width of reader isn't the full width. its weird thought because
it used to be. i can't figure it out. must not be your extension.

try to activate "fix layout".
I force width 100%...

fixed layout enabled or disabled still does the same thing. weird. only started
happening after this latest update.

windows 7 & 5.0.375.125 beta

this still happens. when using fix height, the width seems to be a fixed width
iframe of about 700px or so. this is also what the images are resized to when
using fix layout.

perhaps this should be changed to "max-width:100%;" that would be fluid for
browser resizing.

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
iframes couldn't be CSS fluid...
a little javascrit is need to monitor window resize and change width.

Is 'fixed width' the only activated option ?
I don't understand why there is an iframe there. ('integrated preview' could
add a such iframe).

just wanted to add that i am using a custom stylesheet with
http://nadesign.net/safari/ and the width problem doesn't occur anymore.

OK i found : you activated "fit height" feature without "Fix layout"

Please just turn on "Fix layout"
