Lefthand side doesn't change after changing skin #621

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Features selected (+options for each feature):

Select new skin and install using recommended installation instructions

2. Url feed:

NA

3. What is the expected output?

New skin

4. What do you see instead?

New skin appears with the exception of menu on lefthand side of screen. This 
remains the same as original skin (which is dark and hard to manage for me).

What is your version of GoogleReaderPlus ?

What version of the product are you using?  (copy/paste from about:version
+ preferences/SysInfo)

Chrome (+channel):
Screen resolution:
SysInfo:

On what operating system - Windows(XP, Vista...), Linux(Ubuntu, Debian...),
