Mark as read pass scrolling not working

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Features selected (+options for each feature):
Mark as read pass scrolling; both checked and preferences saved
2. Url feed:
Google reader

3. What is the expected output?
The scrolled passed items to be set as read

4. What do you see instead?
The scrolled passed items not set as read
