something seems to be changed. Do we want to switch to this newer version?

remember the maestro saying already while he was still here that hed worked on an update. seemed to make many things easier BUT would require to re-write standard vis like read write config gile etc

depends on which terms we are now with the meastro... if we were super friends I wouldnt mind some extra work to make it better because if we have an unknown problem we can ask. but if we are not friends... it could cause us troubles and cost us a lot of time to upgrade
