Ability to specify host name #79

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I'd like to be able to manually specify the hostname reported by this 
service (i.e. I'd like to log as my FQDN instead of my NETBOIS name)

I am trying to figure out how to use FQDN also. I'm digging through the code.

There is actually another request and patch for this. Haven't tried it yet.

It is committed in the main codebase and new executables.
