Full Name of SIGKDD #30

Hi, I would like to bring up an issue mentioned by OC and discuss how to revise it.

Here is the original message:

"I was looking at the KDD website and I have a suggestion. I think it would be nice if it spells out the name of the conference on the main page. That’s customary for conference websites, I think. It currently says only “ACM SIGKDD 2022.” The name doesn’t even come up in search, it just comes up as “KDD 2022. Not everyone outside our community knows what this stands for (edited) [3:31 PM] for example, the link for AAAI 2022 in google search comes up as “Thirty-Sixth AAAI Conference on Artificial Intelligence (AAAI-22)”"

I look at previous KDD websites. KDD19 https://www.kdd.org/kdd2019/ has its full name, but KDD20 and KDD21 only use the short name. Any suggestion for the revision? I tried several times but no one is good enough.

Thanks @flash121123. This is a good point.

So shall we use "28th ACM SIG KDD Conference on Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining" at the index webpage?

@qyccc3 could you implement this feature? Let me know if there is anything unclear.

This feature has been solved in #32. I will close it.
