Can’t use with ios15

Same for me

Since I installed tvOS 15 I can't find my Apple TV with the appletv pair command.

Same here. It broke an already established remote and when trying to use node-appletv-x's "appletv pair" to recreate it the "pair" command hangs searching for the TVs.

same, it seems it only finds the ethernet connected appletv (wifi connected one is not found with pair command), but switches doesn't work in either

Apple has dropped the direct Media Remote Protocol support with iOS15. This has caused breaking Apple TV support for all (external) software solutions using it. Even my expensive Crestron Remote has stopped working with Apple TV.

No workaround for now afaik. I even called Apple support to advise how to set my Apple TV's back to TVOS 14.7. It is not possible at all.

There is a workaround - people could find it if they looked at the issue that’s been open since 15 beta instead of opening new ones 😉
