Add the `terminate` command #313

I am curious if it is possible to terminate the sync process after it starts.

Sometimes, the sync process may take a long time before we realize it, and we sometimes had to stop or suspend the sync process and then come back to it later.

Maybe it is available already, but we missed it. Please advise if it is true. Thanks.
