Yes, I'm aware that there is an issue, something related to the xtts api server package, but I just don't have time to work on it now. I will as soon as I can and maybe move from xtts to alltalk.

Hi!

I'm having a similar issue where the installation spits out an error like this:

error: command 'cl.exe' failed: None [end of output]

note: This error originates from a subprocess, and is likely not a problem with pip. ERROR: Failed building wheel for coqui-tts ERROR: Could not build wheels for coqui-tts, which is required to install pyproject.toml-based projects

_ERROR conda.cli.main_run:execute(124): conda run pip install xtts_api_server failed. (See above for error)_

And it says a bit higher:

_Warning: Package 'TTS.tts.utils.monotonicalign' is absent from the packages configuration.

Then it tries to connect to the XTTS API but can't. Is this an error on my part? At first i was missing the C++ Build Tools, you might want to add them to the Requirements section for noobs like me 😄

Also, I wanted to thank you for your work. It's a great initiative. I've been looking forward to software like this ever since IVONA XD No need to rush, take your time.

I have the same issue. Very often "xtts server is not online. Waiting..." And then "ERROR - xtts server failed to come online. Exiting..." After that i waited for half an hour. Is this a big problem or will it run?

I've updated the installer. It should work now. Please let me know if you encounter any issues.
