Would it be possible to implement not only changing books, chapters and verses 
but also to change translation? 

It would be a great help in understanding the subject...

This is not a defect. The prospect of making this enhancement is low priority.

Octavian Lupu also had this in mind for his related BiblePhone application, 
which was derived from an early version of GoBibleCore.

Not planning to implement this any time soon.
Java ME is not the best application framework for going down this route.
This requirement is already met by the available Bible Study apps for smart 
phones.

Even so, one could make [say] a 54 book collection for two New Testaments with 
different languages, seeing as Go Bible Creator is essentially canon-neutral. 
As long as the book names are different (which could be done simply by 
prefixing them with the language code), this could be done by merging two 
source text files, or easier still, by have two sets of USFM files in the same 
folder.

No further work required.
