Workaround:
Because the source code is on the CrossWire SVN server, I was unable to use the
label Type-review for this issue. Google code templates require a proper branch
name here.

Very soon I'll be checking in the source code for GoBibleCreator as well.
This GoBibleCreator will generate extra markup from USFM source files (ThML and
other formats remain the same). In addition, it will not hard code manifest
values, which will allow users to play with the more options.
Currently, the KJV USFM source files available on the Internet are the best to
showcase all the features.
Removed features: Reverse characters. This feature will be re-implemented.

Hi Daniel,
If you plan to change code in GoBibleCreator, please be aware that Larry
Waswick of SIL in Dallas had checked out v2.4.0 and has already added a
facility to use XHTML-TE as a fourth source text format. The TE denotes
Translation Editor, which is part of SIL FieldWorks.
He never got round to checking in this enhancement to the CrossWire SVN server,
and I have not had chance to review it properly or test it adequately. Even so,
it is sufficiently important that we include this in future versions. If we can
get the updated code from him, that would save us having to merge two branches
later.
A new issue should be added to cover your intended changes to GoBibleCreator.

Further items to watch for during code review and testing of the Symscroll
branch:
Side effects:
Implications of new enhancements on other features, especially the Search
algorithm
cf. Special concerns addressed for red-letter markup, as implemented in v2.4.0

SymScroll features were reviewed during meeting on 2011-04-09. (David & Daniel.)
On a PC, touch screen features can be tested (by the mouse) using the emulator
that is part of the Java SDK.
David needs to obtain a touch screen phone to more adequately test the
symscroll branch.

This activity is ongoing, and includes the feedback of testing more new
features.
