USFM source text containing seemingly redundant adjacent pairs of wj markers
would supposedly result in two successive occurrences of U+0001 in the
GoBibleData.
Examples: (\wj \wj* occurs at the end of these five verses in Luke)
\v 10 He said, \wj “To you it is given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom
of God, but to the rest in parables; that ‘seeing they may not see, and
hearing they may not understand.’\wj*\f + Isaiah 6:9\f*\wj \wj*
\v 15 \wj You, Capernaum, who are exalted to heaven, will be brought down to
Hades. \wj*\f + Hades is the lower realm of the dead, or Hell.\f*\wj \wj*
\v 53 \wj They will be divided, father against son, and son against father;
mother against daughter, and daughter against her mother; mother-in-law against
her daughter-in-law, and daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.” \wj*\f +
Micah 7:6\f*\wj \wj*
\v 37 \wj But that the dead are raised, even Moses showed at the bush, when he
called the Lord ‘The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of
Jacob.’ \wj*\f + Exodus 3:6\f*\wj \wj*
\v 30 \wj Then they will begin to tell the mountains, ‘Fall on us!’ and
tell the hills, ‘Cover us.’\wj*\f + Hosea 10:8\f*\wj \wj*
A user reported display problems, citing one of these examples from the WEB2010
Go Bible.
... there seems to be a text drawing bug when displaying Luke 12:53/54: When
showing the last line of v53 (which reads: mother-in-law."), the first line of
v54 is drawn over the top of it, and the number 54 is drawn in red letter,
rather than the usual colour, while the following verse is coloured normally
though it is usually all red. ...
This needs to be carefully analysed.
Q1. Does GoBibleCreator process these correctly?
Q2. If so, does GoBibleCode have display bug?
I have rebuilt the WEB2010 Go Bible with such adjacent pairs of wj tags
removed. However, this is a text source workaround done specifically for Go
Bible.
