In the KJV English version, the two soft keys for my phone (Samsung i617) are
labeled
"Cancel" and "Menu" on the Go To screen, leaving me to deduce that the center
button
(which is never labeled on my phone) is what I need to push to actually go to
the
passage I selected.
In the Somali version, however, they are labeled "Cancel" and "Go To", which is
misleading since the buttons in fact act the same as they do in the KJV English
version. I guess if the user doesn't know English it will be confusing either
way,
but there's no need to trick the ones that do!
By the way, out of curiousity, are there any plans to make other English
translations
of Go Bible, such as ESV?

The Somali version was made by David Haslam using Go Bible Creator 2.2.6
running on
Java SE under Windows XP. This is a test build for SIM, so should not be
attached
here or uploaded anywhere else.
Which version of Go Bible was your KJV, Brian?
The latest made by Jolon using 2.2.6 is downloadable from the main Go Bible
site.

AFAIK, there has not yet been such a version of Go Bible. (cf. The latest
version is
2.2.6) How did you display that build information?
From where was the KJV Go Bible downloaded?
btw. Any chance to photograph the phone to illustrate the softkey label
positions?

I displayed it by going to "Menu > About" for the KJV Go Bible listing. That
build
information was at the bottom.
I don't remember where exactly I downloaded it from, it was a few months before
I got
the Somali one and didn't really know about Go Bible yet - so it was just the
end
result of a Google search. Perhaps I'll delete it and download the "real" one.
I photographed and attached pictures of both Go To screens, but be warned that
they
were taken from another cell phone and are probably the worst pictures I've ever
taken. I think you still should be able to tell what I'm seeing though.
