Psalm titles are missing in the KJV Go Bible

Many of the Psalms have titles or ascriptions, and these are normally
counted as canonical.  These are missing from the KJV Go Bible.

As I have not seen the ThML file Jolon used to make the KJV Go Bible, I
don't know how much this is due to omissions in the ThML file or defects in
the software.

Psalm titles are also missing in the American Standard Version 1901 Go Bible 
2.2.4,
even though the file asv.thm does contain them.  This therefore makes it a Go 
Bible
software issue.

Also canonical are the stanza headings for Psalm 119, which being an acrostic 
poem,
are the names of the letters of the Hebrew alphabet, ALEPH though TAU.

This is not the only acrostic poem in the OT, but in the KJV, it's the only one 
with
stanza headings.

This aspect should also be tackled when the Psalm titles are tweaked.

One might say that this is a text markup issue, in that it is feasible to 
rearrange
the source ThML file in such a way as to include Psalm titles in verse 1 of each
Psalm, but enclose them within {braces} to separate them from the start of the 
text.

This is a complex issue, because Psalm verse numberings are not the same in all
languages. Some Bibles assign verse number 1 to the title, and then offset the
remaining verse numbers by one (sometimes two!) for the text.

When such a workaround is employed in the ThML file, one should be careful to 
use a
different delimiter pair than for any non-canonical inserts, such as 
translators'
notes and headings (or cross-references), which are still present in some Go 
Bible
version that others including myself have produced.

Likewise, if the translation also uses (parentheses) as part of the textual
punctuation for canonical text, then this should not be used for Psalm titles.

The pity is that there is no universally established standard for dealing with 
all
these things when it comes to historical Bible versions and translations 
produced
before the age of computers.

As there are no "words of Jesus" in the OT, the red letter markup can be used 
for a 
different purpose in the OT.  I noticed last week that the TRC Go Bible (from 
the 
faithofgod website) uses red letters for the acrostic Hebrew letter names 
headings 
for each stanza of Psalm 119.

Also missing from the KJV Go Bible are the colophons at the end of the Pauline
epistles. These are the sentences (usually in a smaller font) after the " 
Amen." in
the following verses.

It should be feasible to enhance GoBibleCreator to automate a workaround for
canonical pre-verse and post-verse content.

{Braces} are under-utilized in most Bible translations. Psalm titles could be 
wrapped
in {braces} and moved to the start of text for verse 1. Currently this is a 
manual
task, which is tedious when there are so many digitized translations that 
agencies
(such as WBT) have waiting to be made into Go Bible applications.

Implementing such automation should be in this order of priority.
1. USFM
2. OSIS
3. ThML

IMHO, it should be done only for canonical content, not for translators 
headings.

Psalm titles can be displayed providing the source text is USFM.

As the KJV Go Bible is normally made from ThML, doing it for the KJV requires 
obtaining (or making) USFM source files for the KJV.
