Dear Teus,
This may be a Nokia firmware problem with the way this phone model handles
Hebrew
vowels and cantillation marks in Unicode. Further research is needed.
Do you have any other applications installed in the 6600 which can display them?
Have you tried the same Go Bible application on any other "up-market" phones?
Have you tried the application using a Java ME emulator on a Windows PC?
cf. My own phone is even less "up-market", the K750i can display most Hebrew
consonants, but there are still some black rectangles.
Best regards,
David

Dear Teus,
I just tried opening the JAR file using the mpowerplayer emulator for Java ME
games/apps. The attached file shows what is displayed.
Does this look substantially correct?
If so, it is not a Go Bible software bug, it's a Nokia issue.
NB. Even if only the Hebrew vowels yet not the cantillations are displayed by
mpowerplayer, this may merely point to an unsupported feature of this particular
emulator.
