Request: providing sub-directory of aliases #95

This is feature request - hope this is the right way to submit it!

At the moment any URL is redirected to eg. http://phurl/XXXX, where XXXX is
some generated number/code.

Would it be possible to (optionally) group the URLs, such that the domain part
is visible in the shorter URL (perhaps in a shortened form).

For instance, I specify that for the domain "facebook.com", I want the group
"fbook" - then any URL under http://www.facebook.com would map to
http://phurl/fbook/XXXX - where again XXXX is the generated number/code.

I don't think there is a need to make the XXXX be generated in any predictable
way (so allocated number is still fine), but being able to recognise the domain
from the shorter URL would be beneficial.

Hi,

We don't plan to do anything like this I'm afraid. It's quite a bit of work,
and I don't think it is a feature which would have enough demand for us to roll
out by default with phurl - we want to keep it as easy to setup and understand
as possible.

We are, however, planning a preview feature, so that you could visit
http://example.com/p/d6S and it would tell you where you are going to be taken,
before redirecting you there. But I'm afraid for now that's the closest thing
to your suggestion which we have planned.
