Americas as the region name #36

Hello, First of all, I want to thank you for this list. I am not an English native speaker, and I am wondering the reason you call the region 'Americas' instead of 'America'.

Hi! The region names come from https://unstats.un.org/unsd/methodology/m49/overview I'm not entirely sure the reason why it would be called this.
