Replication instructions for feature creation?

Congratulations for this amazing work! We at the UN SDSN are very much interested in using it to downscale some of our national-scale indexes. However I cannot find any instructions on how the extraction of images from the Planet Basemap was performed (unfortunately we cannot work with the MOSAIKS from 2019 imagery as the indicators are reported annualy). Is there any resource on that matter?

Thanks so much for expressing your interest in this work. The unsupervised featurization of the Planet imagery at global scale was a complex task and requires a huge amount of computation. I believe we have some public resources on how this is done, but I'll need to contact my co-authors.

@hdruckenmiller and @jproctor91 -- do either of you know if we have MOSAIKS featurization code that is publicly available?
