Access to larger ATLAS cutouts as a one-off request #18

I am trying to do astrometry with some atlas images to see whether two sources are co-located. I’ve tried using the online forced photometry server to download cutouts, and it would be really useful to have access to a larger atlas image to do this.

Hi Kirsty,

Thanks for the feature request. The images are currently cutout to 201x201 dimensions. Do you have an idea of roughly what size would be useful to you? Would something like 401x401 be enough?

And just FYI, 401x401 is about 12.4 arcmin x 12.4 arcmin.

that would be great! I was trying to do some astrometry with the images, so it would be helpful to have a bigger cutout.

Maybe you noticed already, but all new image requests now return 401x401 sized images. Hope this is useful!
