new Hangouts #105

Can't call or receive calls from new hagouts application both on desktop and android. Is there a way to do it? I also has no idea how to detect that buddy uses hangouts. Presence xml is extremly short. Just 'from/to', 'show' and 'x'.

I haven't really investigated this at all beyond reading that hangouts was no longer compatible with jingle, but beyond that I don't know the specifics.

Thanks. I learned info on this issue and it seems in near future there is no way to make third-part client for google voice. Kind of frustrating since I spend great amount of time developing some fun client for calls via gtalk. Will look for some gateway opportunities (to skype or even gsm). Sorry for unrelated issue, but share info if you have one.. how xmpp client can be used without supporting own server?
