I can confirm there's something wrong with screen size calculation, esp. after 
resizing. I have a "shopt -s checkwinsize" in my profile which tells bash to 
update $LINES and $COLUMNS env variables. In regular terminal in works as 
expected, but in ELT these vars keep values recorded prior resize.

I can second this.  emacs is also affected.  Would very much appreciate this 
being fixed.

i recommend use Remote System Explorer or Local Terminal can be downloaded from 
eclipse update site
