PRS-600 : Communication Error with Calibre software #367

Your model / PRS+ version?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Connect the eReader to the computer
2. Open Calibre software (http://calibre-ebook.com/)
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I attach the error message.  Nothing is working.

Did you open path H:\database\chache\ ? 
Does the media.xml file exist?
If not, you can try to to add "my" clean(PRS600) media.xml file  to the chache 
folder.
(If there is the file, backup it and replace it whith the new one.)
Disconnect reader from computer, wait a moment. After the homescreen has 
appeared, connect your reader as usual.
Start Calibre. 
Think this should work.
