if you want to see a really unattractive highway map of the US:

web.ui.map.provider: ArcGIS93Rest web.ui.map.provider.ArcGIS93Rest.url: http://sampleserver1.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/Specialty/ESRI_StateCityHighway_USA/MapServer/export

if you want to see a slightly better looking map with blue lines and green diamonds (again only US):
