What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Someone who isn't very experienced with Windows Authentication tries to use
it with UltraVNC and android-vnc-viewer. Some kind of guide on how to use the
MS Logon is very needed in the FAQ/Wiki. Taking the step from a working
connection with standard authentication to a more secure connection using
Windows Authentication is in my opinion extremely tricky.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
In Ultr@VNC I check the "Require MS Logon" button (not "New MS Logon") and the
group I enable is "[computername]\[username]". In android-vnc-viewer there is
only one input-field (Username (For Windows Authentication)). I expected a
field where I could enter password, but there is none.
How could authentication work when there's no password to be specified?
What version of android-vnc-viewer are you using?
Build 582
Which VNC server/version are you using? On which platform?
UltraVNC on Windows 7.
What device are you using?
HTC Dream
Are you using a custom ROM? If so, which?
CyanogenMod 5.0.8
