I am fairly new to Obsidian and I apologize if my understanding is not quite accurate.
I've assumed that Checkboxed Items are the Todos (Checkbox = Todo).
In any case, I use Checkboxes for my Todos. I noticed, when Rolling over my Dailies from one day to the other, that all my items need to be "within" a Checkbox or the item gets left behind (does not follow to the next Daily). I recently found the option "Rollover Children of todos" which allows for indented items (under the Checkboxed Todo) to also be Rolled over... I think that's it?
In my own use case, I would like simply for the Checked off items to be left behind (Completed Tasks / Todos), and any other item, list, "unchecked" Checkbox, Bulletpoint, Image... everything else in fact, be Rolled Over to the "current day" Daily, whether it be within a Checkboxed item or not.
Rationale :
I often include complimentary information to my Todos (comments, specs, images, links, etc.), and I've been putting them behind Checkboxes to make sure they get Rolled Over. Also, I keep a great deal of empty Checkboxes between my actual Todos just to have spacing between them (for better readability... I'm unsure, I may have mild Dyslexia). Suffice it to say that my Dailies contain a great number of "unnecessary" Checkboxes.
I also get nervous about things not being Rolled Over because I would have forgotten to put them in a Checkbox.
