Early on during the class, it currently falls largely upon us TAs to teach students about Sigrid. It would be nice if one of the first few lectures contained information on this. My suggestion would be a quick demo at the end of one of the lectures in w01. Doing this as a little video would also be one option, but I suspect there is a risk that many students would not watch it, rendering it more or less pointless since then TAs would still need to explain Sigrid to each group of students.
Such a demo could cover:
Where to find Sigrid
How to use it:
How to log in (and that course code is important)
Difference between hjälp/redovisa
You need to click "confirm" after every action
Sigrid Etiquette:
Sign in when you arrive at a resurstid/lab even if you don't need help right away
If TA is idle, consider just putting your hand up/calling their name/"ursäkta" (as we may not be constantly monitoring Sigrid while idle, this will likely yield faster TA response)
Remove yourself from queue when TA arrives to help you
The demo/explanation could also mention that the ambulance TAs exist and that they use Sigrid to gauge where help is needed.
