YM:n tahtotila on, että Sykessä aloitetaan vuoden 2025 syksypuolella tulevan arvioinnin suunnittelu. Siinä yhteydessä käydään myös läpi mitä työkalulta odotetaan ja mitä sille toivotaan tehtävän.
Tämä siis tarkoittaa, että YM:ltä ei kannata hakea rahoitusta raportointityökalun päivittämiseen vielä ensi vuodeksi vaan vasta vuodelle 2026. Arvioinnin aikataulu on sellainen, että vuoden 2029 lopulla tai viimeistään 2030 pitää olla julkaisu/ arviointi ulkona.
