Hello @VoLuong , Firstly thank you for your guide. It is very useful and easy to understand.I'm trying to translate your guide into Chinese. But some words I can't understand explicitly and clearly. Can you interpret them in another way or words ?

Another method is achievable if you switch your TeX compiler to [LuaLaTeX](#additional-tools) (or [XeLaTeX](#additional-tools)).
Using `fontspec` and `polyglossia`, Unicode will work out of the box:

What does the "out of the box" means? Does "box" mean software or something else ? Thank you and look forword to your reply~

hi @SunZZ528 First of all, please take my apology for making you feel confused. "Work right out of the box" is a popular term in English. You can find its definition here on Wikipedia.
Something that "works right out of the box" just works as soon as you unpack it from the container in which it was delivered to you, without any further modification, repairs, or enhancements from you.

For example, I buy a laptop. If it works right out of the box for me, I don't have to modify anything. If I have to install more RAM, tweak the operating system,... I would say that it doesn't work right out of the box.

In this part :

Another method is achievable if you switch your TeX compiler to LuaLaTeX (or XeLaTeX). Using fontspec and polyglossia, Unicode will work out of the box:

I want to say that : If you use Lualuatex or Xelatex compiler, just include fontspec and polygossia and you can type Unide without any difficulties.

If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Thank you

I laud the effort, but keep in mind that this opens the door for each individual translation to go out-of-sync.

luong-komorebi commented 7 years ago

@vermiculus Thank you for your warning. I myself cannot verify the quality of translation. However, at least it brings something to people who don't understand English. Also, I cannot prevent people from translating. It either happens here or someone will fork this and make it happen without my notice.

Hi ! Awesome guide, I can translate it in French if you want.

luong-komorebi commented 6 years ago

@prudywsh That would be nice. Of course it is not about me wanting it, but how the community will benefit from it 👍

@00x9d are you still working on the german translation? I'm interested doing it, too.

ghost commented 5 years ago

@LizardWithHat If you like to do it, go ahead. At the moment I have a lot of other projects to do and will not be able to finish the translation.
