Once everyone is on macOS Sierra, this sounds like a reasonable way forward:

The Safari Extension Gallery is really half-assed, I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to update Sans Fonts' description after submitting it.

Works on El Capitan and maybe even on Yosemite, so no need to wait - the port is almost complete. Just need to build a little UI and then release it on the MAS.
