The view where my camera's should be is empty. I can however view the motion recorded clips.

Which cameras do you have? It does not work for Mini cameras yet.

DaniWinter commented 4 years ago

Ahhh, then that’s it, I have mini’s indeed haha.

Is this feature on the roadmap? I could test it if you want.

lurume84 commented 4 years ago

Of course, it should be actually easy to be done. I do not have Mini cameras so I will ask you to copy and paste some files I attach here and give me feedback of the info the app shows so I know how Mini info is sent.

Great!

lurume84 commented 4 years ago

Please download this file NetworkInteractor.txt and copy its contents inside

Place it in Documents\Bling.exe\Html\viewer\js\network\NetworkInteractor.js

Open app again and press ctrl+f5 inside. Some text should appear in the main window, please put it here. In case there is some confidential data rename it to xxxx or something like that.

Let's see if mini cameras are treated as networks also.

Thanks!

Hey, for what it's worth I've finally been able to get the Blink Mini cameras integrated into blinkpy. Here's the issue where users were able to find valid endpoints: https://github.com/fronzbot/blinkpy/issues/224#issuecomment-639102831

Basically the homescreen returns a response with a key called owls which contains the Blink Mini info. Here's the PR where I added it and debugged with another user: https://github.com/fronzbot/blinkpy/pull/290

Hopefully it helps! And if you are able to find a different endpoint other than homescreen that works with the Minis please let me know 👍

Oh shit, totally didn’t get a notification for this. I’ll test it out in about an hour (:

This is the output: {"range_days":7,"reference":{"usage":400},"networks":[{"network_id":22289,"name":"Huis","cameras":[]}]} It doesn't seem to recognise the camera's in my system 'Huis'

lurume84 commented 4 years ago

Thanks both of you! I will take a look to it tomorrow

Flole998 commented 4 years ago

Is there anything new to this?

mcgrailk3 commented 3 years ago

Any updates to getting the blink minis to work?

jmacrab commented 3 years ago

Any update on this yet?

Faboor commented 2 years ago

+1 @DaniWinter is there anything I can do to help?

Flole998 commented 2 years ago

There hasn't been any development for more than a year, you can pretty much assume that this project is dead.

GreyOwel commented 2 years ago

yes there hasn't been but it was such a promising project. koodos to lurume884 and I hope he continues with this Bling-desktop project to include the XT2 camera live views. Everything else work great.... I hope lurume84 reads these posts and or if you can forward this note to him as I am unaware of how to do so. that would be greatly appreciated. thank you
