New SMS 2SV / 2FA no longer sends email verification code #50

After adding mobile number to the Blink app on my phone, when trying to log in to Bling Desktop, it says it's sending email verification, but the email does not get generated and no code is available to be entered. Trying to use the 2SV/2FA code from SMS message doesn't seem to allow access for Bling to get to videos or cameras.

I'm encountering the same issue... I think. I login to the Bling Viewer using my camera account credentials and it then displays "A verification code has been sent to [email]@gmail.com" I never get the email and therefore, can use the Blinking-Bling app!

After updating my Blink account to include my mobile phone number, I still get a message from Bling that says it's sending a confirmation code to my email. However, that actually results in a text message from Blink to my phone, and I use that code ,and am then authenticated. It's not coming via email, but honestly I like the text message code better, anyway.

That was the trick! Thanks! As it turns out, I DID have a phone number in there, but when I examined it a little more closely, I had 2 digits transposed. Sheesh!!Fixed, logged in, rcvd text with PIN, applied... voila! All the best,

Lynster
