Super Jumper accelerometer orientation issue #50

When playing Super Jumper on my tablet (xoom android 3.1) the accelerometer 
orientation is wrong. Moving the tablet up and down makes the game move left 
and right. Is there a way of detecting the default accelerometer's orientation 
as I guess it's different on all tablets to phones.

I've tried switching to detecting Y-axis acceleration instead (because of the 
different orientation of a tablet), but that by itself is not the whole answer. 
 Also have to account for the normal level of acceleration of gravity on the 
current orientation of the device which doesn't seem to be something that is 
done.  Still missing something though...
