Which game doesn't install with Lutris Wine for you?
I'm not sure which failed completely. I know they all had issues if installed with wine-lutris-fshack-6.21-6-x86_64, possibly because of missing dependencies. I had to install some i386 packages (libgamemode0:i386 libgamemodeauto0:i386 libgl1-mesa-dri:i386 gstreamer1.0-gtk3:i386 libgtk-3-bin:i386 librsvg2-common:i386) that solved some of the issues, but there are probably a few still missing. With the distro provided WineHQ-Staging, most things install at fist try, no issues. Its like the ScummVM runner, the lutris provided one needs libjpeg.so.8, which is missing in several distros, so using the native one sometimes is the only solution.
Bug description
Lutris honours the selection of wine runner when running a game, however, for installation, it always uses the latest Lutris provided wine runner. I have this issue and have seen reports in the forums that ar at least one year old with it: Select default wine version for installation I found out this issue as I was trying to install some GOG and Humble Bundle games. The games would install properly when I used the system Wine with the WINEPREFIX and command line options from the (failed) Lutris install logs. However, it doesn't matter which Wine runner is chosen, Lutris always uses the latest Lutris Wine (wine-lutris-fshack-6.21-6-x86_64 at this moment) for the installation. Could be related to #2126 and/or #1814
