Allow users to submit game icons #243

I think it would be great if all new game submissions would be required to have game icons, just like banners. And for existing games, a form to upload an icon in 'Suggest Changes" could be added, similar to that for banners, but without cropping functionality, just previewing.

+1, it's rather annoying. Around a third of my games don't have icons and I'm sure they would if the install scripts could set them. If I'm trusting the author of the install scripts to configure the game then I can trust them to choose the right icon!

any progress on this topic? I have the same problem.

On a similar note it's also not possible to suggest cover arts for games on the website. I feel it's a similar enough to the icons issue, would be nice to get both.

There is a way to submit coverart to Lutris.net. You first have to submit the coverart to IGDB.com and it will be automatically picked up by lutris (if the Lutris.net / IGDB association with the game you want is correct)

I knew that, issue is, some games are not present on igdb, although these are probably a minority, for example MultiMC (on other cases, the game's igdb's link is missing, which I also couldn't find a way to suggest, for example Ni no Kuni 2)
