This fixes the old grey screen problem which made the game unplayable though does have the odd flicker while playing. The big problem now is the cut screen videos, eg. a foreign ruler/envoy has something to say when the screen changes from the normal map mode at which time the screen goes black for 5-10 seconds and then picture returns for a second and then goes black again and repeats. Alt+tab will bring up another window overlaid on the picture of civilization 6 you should be seeing which allows you to click a button (choice) that returns you to the man map mode and visibility of the game again.
