Query: Foundry 0.8.x Mouse Movement Static #80

Hi, I have a live version of Foundry 0.7.9 running the Jitsi integration 0.6.1. For A/V, everthing is working fine.

I have a test instance of Foundry 0.8.7 running the Jitsi integration 0.6.1. and a migrated copy of the 0.7.9 world.

I have two machines, Desktop & Laptop.

I start the self-hosting server on Laptop as GM and then login as a player on Desktop. With A/V integration turned on and using either the native A/V or the Jitsi integration, mouse movement (USB, Logitech) on Desktop causes low static mush on Laptop (but not on Desktop). If I reverse the roles and login as GM on Desktop and login as player on Laptop, Desktop still causes static on Laptop.

I've tried different USB ports, both v3 and v2 on Desktop, and a different mouse, but the static remains. This does not and did not occur on 0.7.x or 0.6.x of Foundry.

This goes away if I disable A/V camera and mic in the Foundry config.

Can you think of anything that might be causing this?

Thanks in advance for your time.

Edit: the effect is still present with all modules deactivated.

I'm not sure what happened but the effect has stopped for the time being. Perhaps something like physically disconnecting and reconnecting my mouse several times has improved its grounding or something. Seems unlikely since I used a wireless mouse to test this in a different USB port and the effect persisted...until it didn't.

My apologies, but this had been happening since I installed 0.8.7 about 4/5 days ago. This was a query only, so I'll just keep an eye on it. All the best and thanks for your work on the Jitsi integration.

Update: the final one I hope, my apologies. The effect has returned, further to that, after listening with headphones, this effect is also present in 0.7.x. My mistake. Conclusion: it's intermittent, has always been there, is obviously a product of the EM environment of my gaming machine which uses on-board sound and ethernet.
