If you don’t know already, BrightScript is also designed for, and originally designed for Roku’s BrightSign ( a digital signage system ), hence its name, and they later branched out into their own company and added features like HTML5 and interactivity. Sample code is available, however I recommend you implement the legacy BrightSign sample code and work your way up.

I have worked with BrightSign briefly on my previous job, but I basically used their windows client, not actually programming in BrightScript. Will see how far the implementations are at this moment.

Let’s try getting these sample scripts for the legacy models running.

At the very least just add support to the first sample scripts. https://web.archive.org/web/20080107111812/http://www.rokulabs.com/support/brightsign/download.php
