I get normal connection speeds at home with my normal WPA2 (around 8MBps), but at university we have an wifi (eduroam) which is wpa2-enterprise encrypted (AES,PEAP,MS-CHAP-v2) and the speed is extremly low, around 5KBps.
And I also get this in a permanent loop (every 30 seconds) in the syslog:

But I would guess that this is due the short lease time of dhcp there.
Some additional info:
I have verified that the rtl8xxx driver is no longer in use
with the default driver I had very weak reception, probably because on of the antennas is not connected, but ANT_SET did not resolve that problem
the reception of both wifi's is good (above 85%) with the rtl8723bu driver
with other devices in the uni wifi I get fast speeds of up to 85MBps
I have tested CONFIG_POWER_SAVEING with both y and n and it doen't seem to make a difference
Non-Concurrent Mode is in use
I'm currently using the master branch of the repo, but I'm going to test 4.3.16 and test if it makes any difference
Hm, seems to be a rushed conclusion on my side as the wifi worked perfectly again when I was alone in the uni wifi, so seems to be more related to full 2,4ghz bands.
