Idea : vertical tabs with only bigger favicons #52

I'm a Slack, Skype, Hangout, Whatsapp, Rocket.chat, Messages and other IM desktop user. I used to use native app for each, several months ago I decided to switch to a one app for all solution : Ferdi (after trying many others) but I'm still not totally pleased (mainly because of electron).

Then I decided to find a native chrome (of firefox) solution with extensions and find this one, but I was not able to customize it to my needs, and I think it can be done with some new customization options.

This is what I would like in my browser (close to slack/rocket or ferdi default UI):

Do you think it's doable ?

If you do this I would probably use it but I'd also like the ability to expand/collapse the titles (as an alternative to completely hiding the vertical tab bar)
