export WLR_RENDERER=pixman, then started the qterminal, this issue didn't reproduce any more. So, All I can say is that it might be related to the VM graphics driver. but The reverse can also be said.

Not reproducible here either. Might be reopened if a way of reproducing it is found.

It's so strange that the issue inexplicably disappeared after pacman-Syu yesterday.
