Can confirm this one - all older ipads I've tried on, and even an iphone 13 pro max - failed to load the game (either this one or my forked "kidzl" version. Yet an iphone 11 I had someone test on, worked fine.
Any thoughts on build settings that can be changed to make this more widely functional? My kidzl fork is aimed at use in schools, the majority of which, are using older ipads.
proposed change here seems to fix this issue on all but the oldest of iPads I have available to test on.

Thanks for trying, Lynn. It still doesn’t load on 2012 iPad or 2014 Android. But given that you extended JS compatibility back to 2015, that is not surprising. Don’t worry it further on my account. My wife (iPad user) doesn’t play any word games. And I can use on my current android phone.
BTW, I consider you wordle implementation the best of the bunch from this user’s perspective. (I have not done any coding since Visual FoxPro v5)

Mind trying
for me? That is my forked version with the edit applied above. The ipad being from 2012 isn't a big deal, it is the browser that matters. That update above works on my 2012 ipad....
The browser was Chrome in both cases. When I get a chance I’ll try with the native browsers. Kidzl works comes up just fine in Windows 10. However, my first word was HONK, but the O was blacked out.
OK . . . Kidzl does come up in Chrome on the old android. The native browser turns out to be too gimpy to use for anything.
I don’t currently have access to that old ipad.

I just get a blank screen in Chrome 81.0.4044.138 running under Android 4.4.2. Venue 7 3730 Build/KOT49H Likewise in the native Android browser on the same Dell device.
Likewise on Chrome on an iPad 4. Sorry, don't have specifics on this one, and Safari was not tried.
